Treats that you can safely give your rabbit

Vegetables

  • Alfalfa, radish, and clover sprouts

  • Beet greens

  • Bok choy

  • Brussels sprouts

  • Carrots and tops

  • Chard

  • Clover

  • Dandelion greens (pesticide free!)

  • Green peppers

  • Mint

  • Pea pods

  • Raspberry leaves

  • Squash: zucchini, yellow, butternut, pumpkin

  • Turnip greens

  • Lettuce: romaine, butter, green leaf, boston, bibb.....no iceberg

  • Wheat grass

Fruits

  • Apple

  • Blueberries

  • Pineapple (beneficial enzymes)

  • Melon papaya (beneficial enzymes)

  • Peach

  • Plum

  • Raspberries

  • Strawberries

  • Sugary fruits, such as bananas and grapes, should be fed only as occasional treats

  • Watermelon

Other

  • Crackers

  • Dried bread

  • Sunflower seeds

NO

  • Avocado

  • Broccoli

  • Chocolate
