Breeding:

    A. a Buck

  • Q. What is gestation & how long does it last?
    A. The length of time between conception and birth.
    It usually lasts 28-34 days.

  • Q. What is kindling?
    A. The act of giving birth

  • Q. What is a baby rabbit called?
    A. a kit

  • Q. Rabbits are born with their eyes open (T/F)?
    A. False- they open at about ten days old

Medical:

  • Q. What is the best way to prevent disease?
    A. keep crocks and feed dishes clean

  • Q. Good ventilation is important for disease control (T/F)?
    A. True

  • Q. Sores on the bottom of the feet indicate what disease?
    A. sore hocks

  • Q. What is the treatment for fur mites (indicated by hair loss)?
