The students of OHS run The Birdfeeder, the school's store. The OHS Birdfeeder is a one-term class. There are 19 students in the second term. The students learn what a real job is like by taking inventory, stocking, purchasing items, and using the cash register. The Birdfeeder is going really well, we have new products and daily specials are always available. We have school supplies, food products, candy, soda and juice, and spirit wear. We currently are donating money to FBLA for their state competition. We are also helping our community by donating a swing set to the Ashley house, a place where under privileged children are living, and donating life jackets to our annual life jacket loaner program. The tips from our tip jar contribute to this cause.
