USING ONLINE DATABASES FOR ARTICLES . . .
From the Library Web Page, go into the Library Resources
area, then scroll down and get Research Tools at the left. Now
click on Research Databases at the top (notice that you can also find
them by subject area or by title). Notice WebFeat searches many
databases.
- List three databases for getting articles (you may list first 3
shown; one is mentioned in number 7 below) :

, __________________ , and _____________________.
- Database articles may be accessed off-campus on the Internet:
TRUE FALSE
- Use either EBSCOhost or SIRS KNOWLEDGE SOURCE to find an article on
the same topic.
Choose the EBSCOhost section to search. Academic
Search Premier is recommended for general articles. Find the best
single magazine or journal article you can on your chosen
topic. Print the abstract (summary) or first page of the
article. You will find that limiting your search takes practice.
- Write the title of the article you found:
_____________________________________
- Name the source (publication) of your article:

- Try another Database. Use ProQuest to find another article. List it
below:
