.:: Who Am I? (This is definitely NOT a rhetorical question...) Before you question yourself any further about my presence in this world, read the following information on yours truly, and take a good look at the picture shown below:
I was born in Brazil and lived there for about 12 years. Therefore you should expect me to speak portuguese. I came from a state called Paraiba, which is considered by a lot of people Brazil's worst region. A great part of my family lives there though, so I like it. Plus it's got beaches (spelling?) and stuff... After living in Brazil, I moved to Spain together with my mother and my younger brother. We lived there for about two years, in a city called Salamanca. Now here is a place where I could have lived for the rest of my life. It had just about everything: nice food, nice girls, nice people. So while I was there, I learned Spanish. Yes, the Spanish with the funky accent... But hey, I think it sounds a lot better than the one spoken here in LA. No offense towards my Mexican peeps y'all. So here am I, in the US, also known as the promissed land. Well, not really... I enjoy different types of music, but the ones I enjoy the most are rock-and-roll and classical. My favorite band is Dire Straits. It used to make excellent music (music folks, not just random noises on some lame synthesizer), so it should have never ceased to exist. It's a shame that good musicians tend to disappear so quickly though... Now, I don't think it would be right for me to cite one specific theme and say that it is my favorite one, so I will just list the ones I like listening to from time to time: Sultans of Swing, Tunnel of Love, Money for Nothing, Lady Writer, Six Blade Knife, and Brothers in Arms. As for classical music, my favorite composers are Mozart and Vivaldi. I am not going to list specific song titles because I don't know any by memory. Talk about an uncultured bastard... My plans for the future are to get a B.S. in ComputationAL engineering science specializing in mechanics, and then either work or get an M.S. degree in the same area.
