Thank you for your interest in cr:DateEdit. cr:DateEdit is a DHTML Date and Time editing control with dropdown calendar, sometimes referred to as DatePicker or DateTimePicker. It's purpose is to obtain a valid date through data entry with both the highest level of accuracy and the minimal amount of user effort. It's flexible design allows for any kind of date entry you desire. The cr:DateEdit is also aware of the user's locale and will automatically localize its format accordingly.
The component implemented as an Internet Explorer Element Behavior. The HTML Component (HTC) is abstracted, leaving the user only to link to a .js file and use the cr:DateEdit tag. When used with Script its intended target is JavaScript, as the value property will return a JavaScript Date Object.
cr:DateEdit only runs Internet Explorer 6.
